Neville Chamberlain Biography
Nevile Chamberlain was a British politician best known for his time as Prime Minister between 1937 and 1940. Chamberlain followed in the foot steps of his half-brother and father, who also spent time in Parliament. His years as Prime Minister were dominated by the trying to contain the advancements of Adolph Hitler, and avoiding war with Germany through appeasement. Though Chamberlain had a deep interest in domestic issues, his support of appeasement and failure to contain Germany, leading to England's invovlement in World War 2, are what he is most remembered for.
